KNO Clothing Hosts a Happy Hour in DC

Washington, DC July 7, 2011-- KNO Clothing, a fashion movement with a conscience, lands in Washington, DC for Summer Happy Hour at Cities Restaurant and Lounge on Tuesday, July 12th from 6:30-8:00PM. The Happy Hour celebrates KNO Clothing’s movement to end homelessness.

Since its December 2010 launch, KNO Clothing has helped relieve homelessness in the U.S. using profits from KNO’s own clothing line. In less than a year, KNO Clothing has donated over 300 articles of clothing to the homeless and supported the housing efforts of Bethesda Mission and the 100,000 Homes Campaign in over 85 communities.

Co-founders Stephen Caldwell and Anthony Thomas continue to respond to the difficult reality that nearly 650,000 people can be found experiencing homelessness on a single night-- as documented in the most recent report from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The KNO Clothing movement gains increasing support from shoppers and organizations who believe in KNO’s simple statement that “No person should go without clothing and no person should go without a home.”

Fashioned to end homelessness, the Happy Hour offers the public a chance to join the movement in person with KNO products and free admission.

Recognized by the National Alliance on Ending Homelessness, KNO Clothing gladly follows the Summer Happy Hour with a pre-conference talk at the start of the National Conference on Ending Homelessness in DC on Wednesday, July 13.
